Threats to the Tribal Council

strategic-planning-navigator-marketing-sudburyLiving in two worlds;
Two year term limits; &
Outside influence on our youth are threats to the Isleta Tribal Council, as identified in their “Strategic Planning Document.”

Today, the Council discussed their mission, their goals and core values as they approved on January 2, 2014, in their strategic plan for the Tribe.

The Council’s number one goal was to amend the Pueblo of Isleta Tribal Constitution. Their second goal was to “assume control of education, including the Isleta Elementary School.” Goal number 12 was to communicate their strategic plan to the community.

Now, that the Council’s term is coming to an end, they are reviewing their plan to determine what they can accomplish in their last 4 months in office.
