On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, the Tribe will release the second half of the per capita for 2014, which is $700.
The Isleta Tribal Council adopted a resolution that authorizes the Isleta Tribal Court to withhold up to 75% of a person’s per capita to satisfy unpaid judgments for housing payments, court fines, child support, civil restitution or incarceration bills.
This means if a tribal member owes you money, then you may request the Isleta Tribal Court to withhold up to $525.00 of that person’s per capita to satisfy the judgment/debt.
The deadline to request the Isleta Tribal Court to withhold someone’s per capita is Friday, October 3, 2014, at 4:30 p.m. The Court created a special form that you may use to request the withholding of per capita. To download the Court’s form, click: Motion to Request Per Capita Withholding.
The Court posted a special notice concerning the withholding of per capita. To view the Court’s Notice, click: Notice on Per Capita Withholding. The Court will not grant exceptions to its deadline of Friday, October 3, 2014, so take action.
